This is my Bowie moment. I'm a full-time, at-home business owner.

    Wren_logo_final

For nearly two years, I've been working a side hustle as a co-founding partner of Wren Communication, a boutique marketing and public relations agency. At the same time, I've maintained my full-time post as the PR and marketing coordinator at India Gospel League, a non-profit caring for the rural villagers of India. Today, I'm tha-rilled to announce that I'm making the move to my home office as a full-time business owner.

IGL has graciously agreed to become a Wren client, which is a great joy because I love the organization and all that it does to change the landscape of poverty in India. They'll join the ranks of several other clients ranging from wealth management firms to college admissions counselors.

This move will allow me to continue to do what I love (contribute to IGL) and give more time to existing and future Wren clients, whom I will also, no doubt, love!

Thanks for your friendship and encouragement through the latest transition in the never-ending saga. I can't wait to welcome new Wren clients to the fold...and have the entire pot of coffee to myself.

To find out more about Wren, shoot me an email (kait@wrencommunication.com), or check our website here:  www.wrencomm.com.

I wrote a press release for my new friend Tanya, who is the baddest bride I know:  http://www.wrencommunication.com/PressReleaseFerguson8252010.html.

Know someone in Kentucky? Know someone who can pack a flat rate box full of canned stuff? Pass it on...

Never write a word you wouldn’t say out loud.

Say what you want to say out loud to a friend. Say it a few times until it’s awesome. Then type it up.

    Preach it.

    Funning

The time has come to get serious about my funning schedule for the Cleveland 10K. This will be the shortest race I've done, so I'm not quite sure how to prepare, but I hope following the old sage, Hal Higdon will prove to be enough. I also call into question my theory that starting with half marathons is more productive than actually starting with a 5K and moving up. I mean, it's hard to consider 1.5 miles a run, er, fun, when the shortest mileage I'm used to is 3 or 4. I digress...

I spent the majority of last night's f(r)un comparing myself to Wren (www.wrenlife.com) and convincing myself that if I could suck enough air into my lungs to go just a few more tenths of a mile, that someday maybe Paula would sit in front of ME at church. Hmph.
